Teaching, Speaking & Advising

Teaching, Speaking & Advising

Inspiring evidence-based learning, leadership, and change around meaningful and sustainable careers.

I connect research and practice to help individuals, leaders, and organizations design working lives that support well-being, learning, and sustainable success.
Through teaching, speaking, and advisory work, I translate scientific insights on career development and human flourishing into practical impact.

Teaching

I teach at the University of Bern and in continuing education programs on career development, work psychology, and leadership.
My teaching emphasizes scientific rigour, reflection, evidence-based practice, and self-directed learning. I strive to help students and professionals gain knowledge combined with practical skills.

Teaching areas:

  • University programs: Bachelor’s, Master’s, and continuing education (CAS/MAS) courses on career development and leadership

  • Professional training: Workshops and lectures for career counselors, HR professionals, and executives

  • Teaching focus: Evidence-based practice, self-directed learning, and human sustainability at work

Speaking

I give keynote talks and presentations at international conferences, universities, and professional events.
My talks inspire reflection on how people and organizations can create sustainable, meaningful working lives amid increasing change.

Possible keynote topics:

  • Employability in the Age of Automation: Building adaptive, resourceful, and future-ready professionals.

  • Leadership for Human Sustainability: How leaders can empower careers, not just manage performance.

  • Work for a Full Life: What makes work a source of well-being and meaning?

  • Sustainable Careers: How individuals, leaders, and organizations can foster long-term growth and health.

Advising

I advise organizations, associations, and public agencies on fostering sustainable careers, employability, and self-directed learning at work.
My approach combines scientific evidence with collaborative dialogue to create systems that enable people to learn, grow, and thrive.

Example advisory topics:

  • Developing career management and employability initiatives

  • Designing leadership programs that foster developmental support and self-directed learning

  • Integrating sustainability and well-being goals into talent development strategies

  • Evidence-based assessment and evaluation of career programs

If you are interested in inviting me to deliver a keynote, lead a workshop, or collaborate on a project, please get in touch.
I’m always happy to explore opportunities to connect research and practice in ways that make work a positive and sustainable part of life.
